The Microbiological Centre “Viodiagnosi Kozanis”, headquartered in Kozani, operates in the field of laboratory diagnostic services, specifically the conduct of microbiological, haematological, biochemical, hormonal, immunological and molecular examinations.
The purpose of Viodiagnosi Kozanis is to provide Primary Health Care laboratory services in accordance with the principles of Medical Science and Medical Ethics, contributing to the prevention and diagnosis of diseases and supporting the medical decision-making process through reliable and high-quality laboratory testing.
The primary objective of the Centre is to provide services of high quality and reliability to its patients and collaborating healthcare professionals. To this end, it has established, implements and continuously improves a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015, fully integrated into its operational processes. The Quality Policy and quality objectives are appropriate to the purpose and context of the Organisation and support its strategic direction.

To achieve its quality objectives, Viodiagnosi Kozanis:

Provides all necessary resources to ensure the smooth, efficient and uninterrupted operation of the Microbiological Centre, enabling the consistent delivery of high-quality services.
Employs experienced and appropriately qualified personnel and ensures their continuous training and professional development, particularly with regard to advancements in laboratory diagnostics.
Ensures that its technological infrastructure and laboratory equipment are modern, suitable for their intended use and maintained in excellent operating condition.
Management is committed to the regular review of this Quality Policy and the Quality Management System, while fostering a culture in which all employees actively contribute to continuous improvement.
